130 senior East HS students recently participated in the school’s 4th Annual Senior Day of Service. Seniors dedicated their time and energy to giving back to the local community through volunteer service projects at organizations and locations throughout the area.
East HS Choir recently performed at the Music in the Parks festival. Students earned a Superior rating, while both the Divisi Honors Choir and Show Choir received 1st Place Superior rankings in their divisions. In addition, the students were awarded the prestigious Best Overall Choir award for the competition.
East HS had two EPC Track and Field medalists from the EPC Championship Meet. Aiden Pierre won gold in the boys' long jump, and Kaliq Daley won silver in the boys' discus.
Students in Ms. Sankey's Principles of Engineering class recently collaborated to brainstorm and design their own unique robots using VEX robotics kits.

Over the weekend, the East HS Boys Volleyball team won first place in the Southern Lehigh tournament!
East HS showed their appreciation for their support staff with a game show themed celebration. Later in the evening, the night staff was also celebrated: Adam Oliva, Kevin Carson, John Fairbanks, Barbara Rodriguez, Teri Smith and Belkys Toribio.
The East HS Science Olympiad team recently competed in the Science Olympiad State Competition, to which only the top 36 teams in the state are invited. Sophomores Jasper Shelton and Miriam Thomas came in 7th place in the Hovercraft category.
East HS Future Educators of America students recently attended a conference from Colonial IU20 and PA Training and Technical Assistance where they discussed the importance of family engagement and building relationships with families.
Congratulations to the East HS Odyssey of the Mind team, who came in third place in states!
The East HS Chess Team recently placed 3rd at the PA State Chess Championship. Winners include 1st place sectional trophy - Joseph McKingley (12th) & Mikael Oh (9th), 2nd place sectional trophy - Sam Oh (11th) and 1st place in division - Marcel Hecht (11th).
The East HS Mock Trial team recently participated in a competition where the defense team beat the opposing plaintiff team. On the Plaintiff Team, Jizell Moore (9th) won Best Advocate and Madison Hoyumpa (12th) won Best Witness. On the Defense Team, Aleah Ramdeo (10th) won Best Advocate and Isabella Alzakzok (10th) won Best Witness.
