Ms. Jessica Johnson

Ms. Johnson has been a mathematics teacher in Pocono Mountain for 20 years, and she also served as the mathematics department head. Over the years, Ms. Johnson spent 12 years as the head varsity softball coach at East HS, and also coached girls' volleyball, girls' tennis, boys' tennis and swimming. She will work to support the coaches and student-athletes of Pocono Mountain East and promote the school's athletics within the community.

Education: Graduate Certificate from Emporia State University, Masters Degree in Secondary Education - Mathematics from East Stroudsburg University, Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Elizabethtown College, PA K-12 Principal's Certification

Mr. Jerry Greeley

Mr. Greeley was named the Assistant Athletic Director for the Pocono Mountain East Athletic Department in 2019. Mr. Greeley has extensive experience at the professional, semi-professional, collegiate and high school levels. 

Mr. Greeley has been a minor league baseball coach with the Baltimore Orioles since 1997. He has coached collegiate baseball for the past 30 years, and is currently the head baseball coach at Kings College in Wilkes Barre, PA. He also previously served as Athletic Director for the Crestwood School District. In 2025, Mr. Greeley was honored by the American Baseball Coaches Association for his 1,000th career coaching win. 

Mr. Greeley has been a special education teacher for PMSD since 1989. He is currently a Lifeskills Support Teacher/Job Site Supervisor and continues to lead the School to Work Program for the district. He has also been the president of Challenger Sports of PA, a program for developmentally and physically challenged athletes, since 2023. In his time at PMSD and King’s College, Mr. Greeley has dedicated his time to community service and has won many awards for his hard work and dedication, including the 2017 Lauretta Woodson Award for Unselfish Dedication to Education. In 2011 and 2012, he was honored by President Barack Obama with the Volunteer Service Award. He was also a Jefferson Award finalist in 2008 for numerous community service activities, including The Jared Box Project, which is nearest to Mr. Greeley’s heart. 

Mr. Greeley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from East Stroudsburg University in 1989, and then completed his Master of Education degree in Health and Physical Education, and Sports Management and Administration at East Stroudsburg in 1998. He also completed his Secondary and Elementary Principal Certification from Temple University in 2002.

Katie Doll - Assistant Athletic Director

Ms. Katie Doll

Ms. Doll was named the Assistant Athletic Director for the Pocono Mountain East Athletic Department in 2025. Previously, Ms. Doll has coached both the boys' and girls' tennis teams.

Ms. Doll has been a special education teacher for PMSD since 2009 and is currently a Special Education teacher at East HS. She believes that playing a sport is as much mental as it is physical. It is important for coaches to remember to nurture and develop both. Players should have fun while also working hard to grow as players.

Ms. Doll earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Scranton in 2008. She also completed her Master of Science in Special Education from the University of Scranton in 2009 and her Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Marywood University in 2014.

Mrs. Alyssa O'Malley

Mrs. O'Malley began working for the Pocono Mountain School District in the fall of 2005 as an administrative assistant. She has been a member of the athletic department staff since 2013. Mrs. O'Malley and her husband Joe are residents of Cresco. They have two children who both graduated from Pocono Mountain East High School where they participated in various sports and activities.
