Congratulations to Vincent Tumminia for placing 6th and William Sobolewski for placing 14th at States for Super Smash Brothers Ultimate (SSBU). There were 317 individual SSBU players across PA who competed in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Esports Association (PIEA) for the Spring 2024 season.
Congratulations to the PME Esports SSBU team for placing 5th at States. There were 35 SSBU teams who competed in the PIEA Spring 2024 season.

Congratulations to William Sobolewski for winning in the finals of The High School Esports League (HSEL): Winter '23-'24 Season for Super Smash Brothers Ultimate (SSBU). This was a National level tournament and William competed in the Silver Bracket against Carmel Catholic High School (Mundelein, IL).

PME Esports
- Esports at PMEHS currently meets every Thursday from 2:30 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. / 6:00 P.M.
- We have over 40 students that participate weekly, for both leisure and competition.
- The student-athletes that participate in the competition teams must compete against each other to earn their seat. The best of the best then compete against other high schools & colleges. We belong to, and compete in, the Pennsylvania Scholastic Esports League (PSEL), the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Esports Association (PIEA), the High School Esports League (HSEL) and the PlayVS Esports League.
